Jenny Parry-Norton and her son Mark had just finished renovating an old cottage on their farm.  They invited us to visit them to advise on marketing the cottage to the holiday makers. When we first visited Nuthatch Cottage near Bramshaw in the New Forest we were absolutely overwhelmed by the beauty of its location.  Situated at the end of a rustic track, the cottage had direct forest access and was set in a glade.  Outside the front door the forest ponies and ‘Rambo’ the black and white donkey grazed under the shade of the majestic oak trees.

The interior of the cottage was an absolute delight and was refurbished and furnished to an exceptionally high standard.   Our eyes lit up when Jenny showed us the private grazing and separate stable block for guests’ horses and Mark not be outdone proudly showed us the 1 acre fully stocked fishing lake decked with water lilies. Nuthatch was a gem waiting to be introduced to the outside world.

After several meetings and detailed discussions, it was agreed that we would produce branding, a website, videos and brochures to promote Nuthatch cottage.  An important part of marketing Nuthatch Cottage was the imagery that was to be displayed on the website, brochures and in the video.  We wanted other people to understand how beautiful and special Nuthatch Cottage and its surrounds are.

We arranged a photographic shoot with our professional photographer and laid the dining table in the cottage with a cream tea.  Mark obliged by fishing in the lake, our Vizzit team posed as picnickers round the lake and Mark and his girlfriend rode pass on their horses. We even filmed two obliging young looking pensioners riding past on bicycles outside the cottage too!  For the brochure we included some stunning shots of the New Forest and researched scores of activities with full contact details to enhance a visitor’s experience of Nuthatch Cottage.

Jenny and Mark were delighted with their Nuthatch branding and easily managed content managed website.  They also loved the two videos we prdouced, one of the activities around Nuthatch and the other showcasing the accommodation.  The brochure was produced in loose leaf format in a glossy branded folder, so that any changes could be made quickly and without having to reprint the entire brochure.  Nuthatch Cotagge was now ready to be introduced to the outside world.

What can I say !!!

We have a customer coming to Nuthatch Cottage on 23rd December for 1 week, just a couple and two dogs - collies I think, They'll have to wear wellies!
This couple go on 30th December, and then  I have another follow-on booking from the 30th December for 4 days for 8 people!!!       I can't believe the bookings have come through so quickly from our website and the Vizzit New Forest Ad.  Thank you for everything. Jenny
